25th Post and A Giveaway!!

It's post #25! I can't believe I have already babbled my way through 24 posts. This has been an enjoyable couple of months already, great people have been met, things have been created, and tons of time has been spent online. So to celebrate I am giving away something kerri made!

I took inspiration from some antique beaded Mohawk pieces. It was the shape that interested me most, it was to be structural, yet collapsible. I wanted to create a bag that you could throw your lunch or small crafty project into. I wanted to use up some of the leftover frog fabric. The little bag has become all that I wanted it to be and soon it will be whisked off to some exotic locale because I made this for one of you! Umm it still needs handles, but this post had to get put up because the giveaway is going to run until my birthday, April 14th.

So to get in on the giveaway all you need to do is comment on this post and tell me what you'd use this little bag (7" at the widest x 9" tall) for. The contest will close at noon on April 14th. I will draw a name and contact the winner so make sure there is an email address so I can get in touch with you. I will ship internationally. The best of luck to everyone!

That is an awesome bag! I love the shape. So I'm going to shamelessly post my first comment here, and say that I'd use the little bag for my take-along knitting, the handwork I schlep all over the place for all those spare moments in life. You are an incredible seamstress, I can't wait to look back through the rest of your archives.

Congrats on the 25 posts, can't wait to see what other goodness you have in store for us. So glad I found you.

Oh, I love that bag! I would use it to take my knitting with me to our local restaurant. I sit and knit while my kids fill up on chips and dip. The bag I have now is very slouchy.

What great work! And the fabric! I am a big fan of all things froggy and I have *never* come across something so great.
Well, I'd use the cute bag for my sewing stuff. I do some hand quilting so I like to keep all my goodies portable and the little bag I have now is on it's last thread.
Congrats on your 25th post! I look forward to reading some older posts of yours.

well, I'd love it to take my lunch to work (not very original, I know) but it would sure beat plastic supermarket bags!
Happy birthday for next week.

I found you through the sew along group. I fell in love with your skirt because of the frogs. Then I came over here because of your flicker and found this sweet giveaway with the frogs!!! I am in heaven!

I made jewelry. I create alot during the lunch hour at work. I would use that sweet bag to carry my beads and supplies back and forth.

First I would so show it off all over my blog!!

Wow! This is a stunning bag! I would use it for carrying beads, needles, and collage materials (I'm an artist).

I found you through Sew, Mama, Sew and loved the skirt -- had to come see what else you do. Love what you did with this bag! It's too cute to hide in the house, so it would definitely have to be used for a carry-along. And the wider bottom and narrow top looks perfect for an unwinding ball of yarn. Not an original idea here, but I crochet a lot of baby sweaters, just the size for this little bag. It strikes me that something to weight the bottom of the bag would make it exactly right for this...
Keep your 'ramblings' coming!

Breat bag! The shape is quite interesting and I would love to see how you kept the form and made it colapsable(?) - English is my second language, sorry here.
I would use it to my new projects in knitting and crochet, that I'm starting to learn. It would be great to be able to carry them around. I don't carry the sewing or the quilting along. I just work at home.

What a great bag! I'm always lugging something somewhere somehow ... toys, wipes, cell phone, snacks, knitting (still learing) ... so I'd say this adorable bag would get a work out!

Oh that is so gorgeous! Love the frog fabric and the shape is really so cool! I would want to keep it for myself, maybe by my couch to hold my current embroidery project--but what I'd probably end up doing is giving it to my 15 year old daughter for her lunches--so she could be the envy of all her school pals!!
